Class quests
Guide
Class quests are a chain of seven quests. Sevina the Priestess and Marlon give the first four quests. Quest 2 changes a character to its second class, quest 3 grants Hero Status and quest 4 unlocks the Blade Knight combo. Priest Devin gives the last three, which lead to the third class.

The fee is the zen the NPC takes for the quest. Quests 1 to 4 lead to the second class. Quests 5 to 7 follow them. Magic Gladiators and Dark Lords start at quest 5 and do not need quest 3.
Requirements
- Your character must be at the level in the table, and the quests must be done in order. A quest cannot be taken again once it is done or skipped.
- Quest 1 is for first class Dark Wizards, Dark Knights and Fairy Elves.
- Quest 2 is for the same three classes. It needs quest 1 done.
- Quest 3 is for Soul Master, Blade Knight and Muse Elf. It needs quest 2 done.
- Quest 4 is for Blade Knights only. It needs quest 3 done.
- Quest 5 needs quest 3 done, except for Magic Gladiators and Dark Lords, who do not need it. A Blade Knight also needs quest 4 done first.
- Quests 5 to 7 have no class limit. Magic Gladiators and Dark Lords have no quests 1 to 4 to do, so they start at quest 5.
| Class | Class change | Quests to do |
|---|---|---|
| Dark Wizard | Soul Master | 1, 2, then 3 |
| Dark Knight | Blade Knight | 1, 2, then 3 and 4 |

Steps
- Go to Sevina the Priestess in Devias at (183, 32) at level 150 or more. Quest 1 needs 1,000,000 zen.
- Find the Scroll of the Emperor. It drops from monsters at level 45 to 60.
- Go back to Sevina and hand it in. Quest 2 needs 2,000,000 zen.
- Find your class item. Dark Knights need a Broken Sword, Elves a Tear of Elf and Dark Wizards a Soul Shard of Wizard. These drop from monsters at level 62 to 76.
- Hand in the item to Sevina. Your class changes at this step.
- At level 220 talk to Marlon. Marlon stands in Lorencia at (136, 88), Noria at (169, 88), Devias at (197, 48) and Atlans at (19, 28). Gain Hero Status needs 3,000,000 zen.
- Find a Ring of Honor. It is a Scroll of the Emperor +1. It drops on any map. It is rare (see the table below).
- Blade Knights only: Marlon's Secret of the Dark Stone needs 2,000,000 zen. Find a Dark Stone. It is a Broken Sword +1 and is rare (see the table below).
- At level 380 talk to Priest Devin in Devias at (181, 35), or at Crywolf Fortress at (228, 48). Evidence of Strength needs 5,000,000 zen.
Items and where they drop
Quest items drop only while you have the quest they belong to open. The level-based ones drop from any monster in the level range below, on any map. The quest 5 items come from one monster each. The quest 6 and 7 kills are at the spots in the table.

| Kill for quest 7 | Quest 7 | Every kill of the Dark Elf, 1 needed | 100 % | Balgass Refuge at (97, 187) |
- An NPC buys a quest item for about 3,000 zen. Do not sell one before its quest is done.
Rewards
- Stat points are added to your character. Quests 1, 2, 5, 6 and 7 give them at once. Quest 3 gives one stat point for each level above 220, see Gain Hero Status below.
- Gain Hero Status gives one extra stat point for each level you have above 220. At level 230 that is 10 extra points.
- Each character level gives 5 stat points for Dark Wizard, Dark Knight and Fairy Elf, and their second and third classes. Magic Gladiator and Dark Lord, and their next classes, get 7.
- Muse Elves get the Infinity Arrow skill from Gain Hero Status.
- Blade Knights get the combo from the Dark Stone quest.
- No quest pays zen. Zen is only the fee.
Hunting Tips
- Quests 1 and 2 start at level 150. Keep the Scroll and your class item until Sevina asks for them.
- The Ring of Honor and the Dark Stone are the rarest drops. Each drops only while its own quest is open, so hunt where monsters are plentiful.
- The Blade Knight combo has three steps. Each step accepts these skills:
- Step 1: Falling Slash, Lunge, Uppercut, Cyclone, Slash
- Step 2: Rageful Blow, Death Stab, Strike of Destruction, Twisting Slash
- Step 3: Rageful Blow, Death Stab, Twisting Slash
Notes
- If your level or zen is too low, the NPC shows an error line instead of the quest.
- The quest window (Change Class tab) shows your current quest and what is still missing.
- Keep quest items in your inventory until the quest is done. Sell any extras afterwards.
