Pick your class
You start with one of five classes. Each one has two more classes you unlock later.

| Dark Knight | Lorencia | Melee, lots of HP | Blade Knight, then Blade Master |
| Fairy Elf | Noria | Bows and crossbows, support | Muse Elf, then High Elf |
| Magic Gladiator | Lorencia | Melee and magic in one | Duel Master |

Requirements
- Dark Wizard, Dark Knight and Fairy Elf: no level needed to create.
- Magic Gladiator: your account needs a character at level 220 to create one.
- Dark Lord: your account needs a character at level 250 to create one.
Plan your first character on one of the first three. Come back for MG or DL when you have the level.

- The Move list checks your level and your zen before it sends the warp.

Zen and jewels
- Zen is the money of the game. Monsters drop zen piles. Whoever picks a pile keeps all of it, even in a party.
- You spend zen on warps, potions, arrows and most shop items.
- Jewels drop from monsters. The jewels are Jewel of Bless, Jewel of Soul, Jewel of Life, Jewel of Chaos and Jewel of Creation.
- Marce also sells jewels. She stands in the Arena. Her list has Bless, Soul, Life, Chaos, Creation, Guardian and Harmony. Prices show in her window.
- Jewels are used for upgrades and mixes. Players can trade jewels with each other, with zen or items.
Tips
- Carry potions. Keep a few Town Portal Scroll in your bag.
- Warp back to town when you run low. Do not walk through the map at low HP.
- Put your points into the stat your class needs most.
