Release 7: Magic Backpack and Promiseland
28 October 2026 (today)
New
- The Magic Backpack is in the Moo Gold Shop for 100 Moo Gold. It adds 32 squares to the bag of the character you play, up to four times, and works the moment you take it.
- A plus button at the bottom right of the Inventory opens the Expanded Inventory beside it, one grid for each backpack. Potions, the Moo Helper and the Panda use the new squares too.
- Promiseland now has 496 monsters that no other hunting map has, from level 52 to 102. The Blood Castle monsters are among them.
- Wild Bali and Wild Soldier roam Promiseland. They look like the Elf's summons and fight on their own.
- Two hidden stacks for those who walk the whole map: an 8-stack of Chief Skeleton Archers in the east and a 7-stack of Chief Skeleton Warriors in the south-west.
- The phone menu is one circle of six keys: Map, Wiki look up, Command, Party, Trade and Global chat. It swings open and shut.
Changed
- A weaker Greater Damage or Greater Defense cast on you no longer replaces a stronger one that is still running.
- Poison hits on the original timing: a full Poison takes about a fifth of the target's life in seven ticks. Decay replaces a running Poison with its own, and Poison cannot replace Decay.
- The Ring of Poison gives no poison resistance at +0. Each level of the ring adds one step, as in the original game.
- Poison Bulls and Poison Shadows resist poison as in the original game: your poison lands about 1 time in 7.
- The phone's Global chat opens on the #chatting channel, with the # channels listed first.
- This update needs the newest app. Older apps are asked to update when they try to log in.
Fixed
- Using a backpack no longer asks you to select your character again.
Release 6: Kalima gates and Vault Expansion
27 October 2026
New
- The Vault Expansion Certificate is in the Moo Gold Shop for 200 Moo Gold. Your vault grows to a second page, and the Expanded Vault opens with the H key or the new Storage button.
- Killing an Illusion of Kundun opens a gate to the next Kalima, where it died. Your party can walk through.
- The Golden Member card in the shop wears a golden crown that shimmers.
- A page for the Panda: how you get it, what it does and why it cannot be traded.
Changed
- The Kalima gate stays open for your whole party. The owner walking in first no longer shuts it.
- Normal items from a Box of Kundun roll skill, luck and options at the original game's chances, so they come up much more often.
- Third class is out of Moo Classic. Priest Devin and the third-class quests are gone, and the class names on the site and in the wiki stop at the second class.
- Kalima's water and far-away objects fade into a haze instead of popping in at the edge of the screen.
- The Panda tooltip is final: "Given for bringing friends to Moo Classic", picks up your zen and helper items, cannot be traded, dropped or sold.
- Staff test spawns and staff finds no longer announce a jackpot to the whole server.
- The old jackpot spam is wiped from your chat.
- The Chaos Nature Bow's arrows leave a brighter, livelier trail.
- Weapons and armour glow again on dark maps such as Lost Tower.
- The days line above the shop items is gone.
Fixed
- The guild mark shows on the character's shoulder, on you and on others.
- An item picked up from the vault or a personal store goes back into its own square.
- The Blood Castle counters draw under other windows, and the timer no longer blinks.
- The news icon no longer sits over the Expanded Vault's title.
- The phone menu's keys no longer overlap each other or the chat.
Release 5: Elite Golden Moo and combat fixes
27 October 2026
Changed
- Lightning from monsters pushes you one square, as in the original game.
- Greater Damage on the Elf now also raises the attack rate of the Elf's summons, so Bali and the Soldier hit more often when buffed.
- The Witch Queen, Blue Golem, Death Rider, Forest Orc and Death Tree are back to their original strength. They had too much life for what they paid.
- The Elite Golden Moo now appears away from the monster groups, so it no longer drags a crowd off a hunting spot.
- The Moo Helper stays on its stack when a golden, boss or event monster hits it. It moves only if it stands alone, you picked the target or your life is under 40 %.
Release 4: restart warnings and the Soldier
27 October 2026
New
- Restart warnings: the server tells you 5 minutes and 1 minute before an update. The login screen says "Moo Classic is updating" with a countdown instead of "Can't reach the server".
- The web version shows a friendly screen with Reload, Details and Copy when something goes wrong, and a banner when a new version is ready.
Changed
- The Elf's Soldier summon hits a little harder: 209 to 215 instead of 190 to 195.
- The Panda picks up zen and the items on your list. The helper wearing it runs after drops only for jewels, excellent and ancient items and items you named.
- Tooltips no longer list what a box or star can give. Look it up in the wiki. The yellow notes we added are gone too.
Fixed
- Leaving the world clears the leftover inventory squares and stack counts from the login screen.
Release 3: Kundun sets and the bug report window
27 October 2026
New
- The level 380 sets drop from Kundun again, as plain pieces, never excellent.
- A Zen guide, and looking at a pile of zen opens it.
- The bug report window stays open until you close it, can be moved and leaves the game playable behind it. Your screenshot and game state go with the report.
- The phone has a radial menu on the Map button and a global chat made for the phone screen. The phone screen stays awake while the game is open.
Changed
- The Magic Gladiator's spells lose the extra damage they had and hit like the original game.
- The Panda tooltip tells you it was given for bringing friends.
- Looking something up always opens the wiki in your browser.
- The Kalima gate leaves the map after its minute, or when it is full.
Fixed
- Cancelling a trade after a hiccup gives every item back.
- A +0 Wizard's Ring at zero durability breaks, and you can drop or sell it.
- The scrollbar thumb can be dragged.
- Party buttons no longer flicker when the mouse is over them.
- Chat and friends windows draw above the 3D items in your inventory and personal store.
- Switch character no longer hangs when the server does not answer.
- The big level number on the phone bar is gone.
