Balance changelog
Every balance change on the main world, and what it did to hunting.
Every change we make to monsters, spawns, EXP, drops and fights on the main world, newest first: what changed, why, and what it did to hunting. From 29 October 2026 each change also shows the EXP an hour players got before and after it, measured as in Hunting and XP rankings.

The changes
EXP an hour is measured at every spot
What changed: The main world now records how much EXP players get an hour at each hunting spot, by level, party and class. The XP per hour lookup and the rankings show it next to our estimates.
Why: So every later change can show what players got before and after it.
What it did to hunting: No change to the game. The first real numbers: Lost Tower 7's Death Knights about 1.6M an hour at levels 189 to 226, Promiseland's Satyros and Kentauros about 1.6M at 214 to 232.
Devil Square 7, Chaos Castle 7 and Blood Castle 8 closed
What changed: The seventh Devil Square, the seventh Chaos Castle and the eighth Blood Castle are closed. They belong to later seasons.
Why: Moo Classic plays Seasons 0 to 2.
What it did to hunting: High-level characters do the earlier event levels instead. No hunting spot changed.
Box of Kundun: fewer rings and pendants
What changed: Boxes of Kundun give weapons and armour more often and rings and pendants less often, as in the original.
Why: Players opened mostly jewellery.
What it did to hunting: No change to EXP.
The 380 sets come from Kundun +5 again
What changed: Boxes of Kundun +5 give the level 380 armour sets again, at +0 to +4 like the original, never excellent.
Why: Players had no way to get them.
What it did to hunting: No change to EXP.
Aida's monsters back to the original's strength
What changed: Aida's line of monsters has the original game's life, damage and defense again.
Why: They were stronger than the original.
What it did to hunting: Aida's spots are easier and clear faster.
The Soldier summon hits about a fifth harder
What changed: The Elf's Soldier summon deals about 19 % more damage than before 19 October, in two steps: a first raise on 19 October and 10 % more on 28 October.
Why: It fell behind the other summons.
What it did to hunting: An Elf with the Soldier clears a little faster.
Symbols of Kundun drop again
What changed: Monsters drop Symbols of Kundun again, about 1 in 340 kills, so Kalima can be reached.
Why: They had stopped dropping.
What it did to hunting: Kalima's spots are open to everyone who hunts for the Symbols.
Jewels of Life and Creation from stronger monsters only
What changed: Jewels of Life and Creation drop from monsters above level 72 and 78, as in the original.
Why: Yetis were dropping them.
What it did to hunting: No change to EXP.
Skill scrolls and summon orbs drop far more often
What changed: Skill scrolls and summon orbs drop about 25 times as often, as in the original's later fix.
Why: Some scrolls took tens of thousands of kills.
What it did to hunting: No change to EXP.
Golden monsters as in the original
What changed: Golden Goblins, the Golden Titan and its Soldiers, Golden Dragons and the other golden monsters come back as in the original, at random times.
Why: The golden hunts were missing.
What it did to hunting: A golden monster pays 10 times the EXP of a normal one of its level.
Monster levels as in the original
What changed: 35 monsters have the original game's levels again, and drop items of the matching level.
Why: Our server had other levels for them.
What it did to hunting: Those monsters pay the EXP of their original level.
Your defense counts for more against monsters
What changed: Monsters' hits are cut more by your defense than before, and Elf buffs give what they gave in the original.
Why: Monsters felt either too weak or too strong over several tries. This is the setting players liked.
What it did to hunting: Fewer potions and deaths at the same spot, so more time killing.
