Your character on the wiki

Guide
In short: turn on Share my character with the wiki in the game's Options, then type your character's name in the Your character box at the top of any wiki page. Item pages say whether you can wear the item, hunting spots say whether they suit your level, and set pages show the pieces you already have.

Quick facts

Setting Value
Turn it on Esc, then Option, then Wiki sharing (on a computer) or Share my character with the wiki on the Game tab (on a phone or tablet)
Starts Off for every character
Shared One character at a time, on the server you play it on
The wiki sees Class, level, stats, the gear you wear, your bag, your class quests and the map you are on
The wiki never sees Your vault, your account name, your email or where you play from
Updates Within a minute of you changing gear or levelling
Turn it off The same switch. The wiki forgets the character at once

What the pages show

  • Items: whether your character can equip the item, up to which +level, or how much Strength, Agility, Energy, Vitality or Command is still missing. Gear for another class says so.
  • Hunting spots and maps: whether a spot is good for your level, still too strong, or too easy to be worth the time, and which spots on a map suit you.
  • Sets: the pieces you wear are marked in green and the ones in your bag in gold, with a count of how many you have.
  • Class quests and class pages: which class quests you have done and which are next.
  • Where to hunt and the character builder: the hunting list starts filtered to your level, and the builder has a Load button that opens your character as it is now, gear included.

Setting it up

Step Where What to do
1 The game Press Esc and click Option
2 The game Turn on the sharing switch. The chat says when the wiki knows your character
3 The wiki Click Your character in the bar at the top, pick your server, type the name and click Show my character

The wiki remembers the name in this browser only. Clear in the same box forgets it. Anyone who types your character's name sees the same pages you do while sharing is on, so turn it off when you'd rather keep your gear to yourself.
