In short: A full Energy wizard with nothing at all in Vitality, built to finish another player with one or two spells. It hits like a Full Energy Wizard and dies like nothing else.

Good and bad

Good at

  • The most spell damage a wizard can reach at its level
  • Fun in short ambushes and town fights
  • Cheap: no Vitality to raise

Weak at

  • Life stays near the starting value: 280 at level 220
  • Low Agility means many spells miss a player
  • PK status makes you a target and slows your play: see Party and PK

Stat points by level

Skills and gear

Evil Spirit or Lightning to open, Teleport to stay out of reach.

The same staff and wings as any energy wizard. Every piece of defense helps, because the build has none of its own.

Why it works here

The hit is real: Evil Spirit does 301 to 608 before defense at level 220. But on our server a player's defense counts for more against another player than in the original game, and a wizard's chance to hit a player grows with Agility. Against an Agility Knight of the same level, this wizard needs about 3 hits, landing 22 % of the time. The knight needs about 1 hit, landing 83 % of the time.

On Moo Classic: The damage is there, the one-shot is not: players take softer hits here, and with no Vitality the wizard falls first.

History

A meme as old as the game: the wizard who one-shots you at the Lorencia bar, and gets one-shot back.
