In short: Strength first with some Energy: the Magic Gladiator's blade damage grows with both. The common MG.

Why it works here
A Magic Gladiator's weapon damage comes from Strength and a little from Energy, and its skills double it. At level 400 this split has 2,052 Strength and 300 Energy: Twisting Slash 1,460 to 2,052.
